ABOUT ME
What drives me most in life is people! The way to connect is communication and that's my greatest passion. As a moderator, public speaker and storyteller for TV and film - I do exactly that - connecting with people and I love it!
With over 20 years of international work experience in the media industry, I have worked in television production, both behind and in front of the camera, including working for SRF, Pro7, Sat.1 in Switzerland and various projects in New York City and London. Besides working for TV I enter the stage as an event moderator which has become one of my greatest passions.
Swiss with Czech roots, I speak multiple languages including German, Swiss German, French, English, Czech and a bit of Spanish having worked with a multitude of professionals from different fields: from top fashion designers like Roberto Cavalli to the father of the internet Vint Cerf. In 2022 I gave my first TEDx talk at the university in Zürich. I studied media, journalism and sociology in Fribourg, Switzerland and in California, USA, and graduated bilingual with a Master of Arts degree. My studies and travels around the world, to more than 40 countries, have deeply influenced my work and my goals to help people connect with each other on a personal human level. I am currently producing my first documentary film „Searching for Contact“. In the film I share my own journey of reconnecting with my true self. I examine how to keep human connections alive, while navigating the digital transformation in a world which is increasingly controlled by technologies.
WORK
Being on stage is one of my biggest passions, just like it is to connect with people. As an MC & host I moderatore events and conferences (physical and virtual) around the world in English, German, Swiss German and French. Besides events I moderatore podcasts, tv-shows or image films. I effortlessly entertain with the sole purpose of connecting people, evoking feeling, and discovering our present humanity. Exploring some of the world’s foremost topics such as blockchain, digital trends, and new technologies at a diversity of stages from universities to major tech conferences, I bring the “human touch”. As a speaker I give keynotes talking about various topics in the context of "human connection" in the digital age. I'm also a TEDx speaker - go check out my talk about "How I failed chasing the perfect version of myself". My years of experience help me balance authenticity with an energetic and entertaining yet classy performance. Get in touch if you need a MODERATOR or SPEAKER for your event!
I'm currently producing and directing my first documentary film „Searching for Contact“. In the film I examine how to keep human connections alive, while navigating the digital transformation in a world which is increasingly controlled by technologies. Social media has propelled public attention to become the most powerful and seemingly most valuable asset in life. For the past 15 years big tech companies encourage individuals to turn themselves into private brands. This comes at a cost. Screen addiction is real, as is social media addiction. Documenting everything and sharing it online has become a sellable commodity. Are we living a true version of ourselves or are we aiming to present the perfect ME in order to be somebody for the world? Over the course of creating a personal documentary film, I want to reflect a struggle that millions share: living in a society where the greatest currency is public attention.
